Freyda Fae Candle Care

A slow and steady winter of countless trials and errors have brought me to the candles I offer you today.

I bring you candles that are subtle yet complex. You will find that the scent builds the longer the candle is lit and the more often you light it.

I opted for a slow marinade rather than an intense aroma. By doing so I hope these candles keep sensitive folks like me headache free.

The honey-like scent of beeswax shines bright through each candle.

I opted to work with beeswax for a couple of reasons. First, my middle name is Bea. Some bee for a Bea! Second, beeswax is known to purify the air by releasing negative ions that bond with and eliminate toxins. No paraffins here. Please note these candles are not vegan.

I use triple filtered yellow beeswax from the USA. Under US regulations, no beeswax can officially be certified organic. If you see that label it typical means beeswax is sourced from other countries. As I dive deeper into my craft I hope to find beeswax from local apiaries. I am still gathering information and I welcome any insight!

Unlike coconut or soy wax, beeswax does not retain scent as strongly. I use a combination of fragrance and essential oils to bring you a balanced scent.

Cotton wicks create an even burn with hotter and shorter flames.

Each candle is poured individually. You might notice slight variations in scent and presentation.
